I was featured in a story for Big Life magazine that covered all sorts of topics. I’m not sure what I thought of the “Slowing Down” title but I did find the idea relevant to life these days.
Ski towns can often scare off people who are looking to check all the boxes: love, career, community, activity, etc. Not Christy Mahon. With her signature smile always gracing her face, she has beautifully woven a life that incorporates all the above while proving she doesn’t scare easily.
As a result of finishing our multi-year project to ski the 100 tallest mountains in Colorado, we were nominated as National Geographic's Adventurers of the Year for ski mountaineering.
With the Coronavirus shutdown affecting all of our lives in different ways, I offered up some thoughts on what I do to cope with the situation, what I do outside of work to keep busy.
